16CrNi4 Gear Steel Bar
16CrNi4 is an Italian gear steel, equivalent to China's 12Cr2Ni4, with high strength, good toughness, good hardenability, surface layer hardness and wear resistance after carburizing and quenching are good, cold plastic deformation is good, cutting is still good, but there is White point sensitivity and temper brittleness, poor weldability. Used for large-scale carburizing parts working under high load and alternating stress, such as various mechanical parts such as gears, worm gears, worms, and shafts subjected to high loads.

Heat treatment specification
Quenching: 860°C for the first time, 780°C for the second time, oil cooling; tempering 200°C, water cooling, air cooling.
