18CrMnMoB Gear Steel Bar
18CrMnMoB is a nickel-free, low-chromium forgings for steel, good hardenability, stable strength on large cross-section, good forging, welding, and cutting process performance, high-temperature performance is also better. It is used to manufacture large-strength high-strength forgings with working temperature below 450 ℃, such as impeller with wheel thickness greater than 300mm, spindle rotor with the diameter greater than φ500mm and tailor-welded structure.
18CrMnMoB does not contain nickel and is a steel for large forgings with low chromium content. It has good hardenability, stable strength performance on large cross-sections, good forging, welding and cutting process performance, and high temperature performance. It is used to manufacture large-section high-strength forgings with a working temperature below 450°C, such as impellers with a hub thickness greater than 300mm, spindle rotors with a diameter greater than φ500mm, and tailor-welded structures; it can be used for castings.

Tensile strength σb (MPa):
- 883 when the cross-sectional size is 100~300;
- 834 when the cross-sectional dimension is 300~500;
- 785 when the cross-sectional dimension is 500~800
Yield strength σs (MPa):
- 735 when the section size is 100~300;
- 715when the section size>300~500,
- 686 when the section size>500~800,
Hardness:
- 269~302HB when the cross-section size is 100~300
- 255~268HB when the cross-section size>300~500
- 241~286HB when the cross-section size is 500~800
