20CrMnTiH researched for instead of 18CrMnTi gear steel, which is widely used as carburizing parts. Heat treatment Related

 

  • Annealing of 20CrMnTiH Alloy Gearing steel

Slowly heated to 790-810 ℃ and store enough times, thoroughly heated steel, Then cool slowly in the furnace. 

 

  • Quenching and temperature of 20CrMnTiH gear steel

Heated slowly to 788°C, Then put in salt-bath furnace keep temperature range from 1191 ℃ to 1204 ℃, quenching by oil can get 60 to 66 HRc hardness. 


High temperature tempering: 650-700℃,cool in air, get hardness from 22 to 30HRC. 

Lowtemperature tempering: 150-200 ℃, Cool in air, get hardness from 61 to 66HRC.

 

  • Hot work and cold work of 20CrMnTiH Alloy Gearing steel

20CrMnTiH steel can hot worked at 205 to 538°C, 20CrMnTiH Gearing steel can be cold worked using conventional techniques in the annealed or normalized conditions.
