34CrNiMo6 Gear Steel Bar
34CrNiMo6(AISI 4340 / DIN 1.6582 / EN 24) Steel is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy steel that widely used in Oil & Gas industry. It is a quality high tensile alloy steel. 34CrNiMo6 steel offers toughness and high strength in the heat treated condition. 34CrNiMo6 is usually supplied under quenched and tempered condition at the hardness of 24 – 29HRc.
34CrNiMo6 is a quenching and tempering steel with high strength, high toughness and good hardenability. Used for large axles, machine components, tools and high strength fasteners.
The steel can be induction hardened and it is weldable under certain conditions. Through hardenability to appr. 100 mm diameter bar with oil quenching.
