SNC631 Structural Steel Bar
SNC631 is carbon steel quenched and tempered steel. With high strength, high toughness and high hardenability. In the quenched and tempered state, the comprehensive mechanical properties are good, low temperature impact toughness good. Temper brittle tendency, easy to produce cracks in water. Machinability is good, but poor weldability. Used in quenched and tempered condition.

Application:
Manufacture important quenched and tempered parts with large cross-sectional dimensions for forging and cold stamping, such as connecting rods, discs, crankshafts, gears, shafts, screws, etc.
Heat treatment:
- quenching 820 ℃, oil cooling;
- tempering 500 ℃, water-cooled, oil-cooled.
Delivery:
To heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or tempering) or not heat treatment delivery.
