55CrNiMoV5 Hardware Tool Steel Sheet

55CrNiMoV6 steel has good toughness, strength and high wear resistance. It is at room temperature and 500 ~ 600 ℃ when the mechanical properties are almost the same. In the heating to 500 ℃, 55CrNiMoV6 steel still able to maintain the hardness of about HB300. As the steel contains molybdenum, which is not sensitive to temper brittleness. After slowly cooling down from 600 ° C, the impact toughness is only slightly reduced.

55CrNiMoV6 steel has good hardenability. 300mm × 400mm × 300mm large pieces of steel, from 820 ℃ oil quenching and 560 ℃ tempering, the hardness of the various parts of the section is almost the same. The kind of steel used to manufacture all kinds of large and medium forging die.
