SK6 Hardware Tool Steel Sheet
SK6 is a carbon tool steel with high hardness and abrasion resistance.
Japan JIS standard steel SK6; German DIN standard steel C80W1; France NF standard steel Y170.
SK6 is the carbon content of 0.6 high-carbon steel, quenched hardened after use, SK7 excellent wear resistance, and the price of cheaper tool steel. Applicable to the sliding parts need high hardness parts and the production of cold mold parts.
Sk6 material is often used in elastic parts, stamping characteristics of the same with the spcc, hardness and rebound slightly stronger, usually after the heat treatment, to achieve the required hardness and flexibility.
