P355GH Pressure Vessel Steel Plate

  

P355GH is a steel plate for medium pressure boilers. It is a kind of steel plate for pressure vessels in Europe, and the executive standard is EN10028 (European steel plate standard for pressure vessels). It is equivalent to Q345R (16MnR) in the Chinese standard.

 

P355GH steel gives optimum performance for pressurised products that must support a creep limit greater than 180N/mm2 at 400ºC.


These types of steel are characterised by good weldability. They are used above all for manufacturing boilers, pressure vessels and pipes for the transportation of hot liquids. They also have good properties at high and low temperatures. The product is always supplied in the normalised condition.


This normalized steel is used worldwide by fabricators of welded pressure vessels, industrial boilers and heat exchangers and is engineered to work well in elevated temperature service.
