ABREX 500 Wear Resistance Steel Sheet

 

ABREX 500 steels are the most generally utilized of the wear safe evaluations. The Abrex 400 and Abrex 500 series(Previously named as Sumihard 400 and 500) is the wear plate series from Nippon Sumitomo Steel Metal Corporation, Japan. The use of abrasion resistant ABREX steel plate markedly reduces the weight of structural members exposed to severe abrasive conditions. Compared with regular steel, ABREX steel plate reduces structural weight and delivers economic merits. Adoption of high-performance abrasion resistant ABREX will prolong the service life of machinery and components.


WixSteel import and sell Abrex 500 steel plate for many years, currently, China own grade abrasion resistance steel plate quality is good too, not such good compare with Abrex 500, but price is competitive, some flexiable environment can use China abrasion resistance steel instead, such as NM360 etc.

  • Ultrasonic tested as per SA 578 or any other as per requirement
  • MTC acc to EN 10204 / 3.2 
  • Charpy Impact tested at -20 / - 46 DegC.
  • Furnace Normalised
  • BQ Plates with IBR form IV
