XAR600 Wear Resistance Steel

XAR600 is a wear-resistant plate model produced by Germany's Thyssen Krupp Stahl AG (ThyssenKrupp Steel Company, hereinafter referred to as TKS). German Thyssen Krupp Stahl AG (ThyssenKrupp Steel Company, hereinafter referred to as TKS) has produced special structural steel plates with high wear resistance since the mid-1960s. After quenching or quenching and tempering heat treatment, it has a compact The microstructure of martensite or martensite-bainite. The thickness of the steel plate produced can be up to 100mm. In addition to the traditional XAR 400, XAR 450, and XAR 500 grades, TKS has also successfully developed three new grades-XAR 300 normalized steel for medium and low wear environments, XAR 400W for higher temperature use and higher requirements Super-hard XAR 600 for wear requirements.

This Material Specification applies to 4 to 40 mm thick plates of the wear-resistant special structural steel XAR® 600. The extraordinary high resistance to abrasion of XAR® 600 results from a special water quenching process.Application: The steel may be used for wear exposed structures, e.g. excavating, mining and earth-moving machinery, truck dump bodies, conveying, crushing and pulverizing equipment and scrap presses.Information Provided by Thyssen Krupp.
