40CrMnMo Gear Steel Bar
40CrMnMo steel is a high-strength medium-carbon quenched and tempered manganese steel, which has high strength, elasticity and wear resistance, as well as high hardenability. After quenching and tempering, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good hardenability, and high tempering stability.
Mostly used in quenched and tempered state. It is often used to manufacture heavy-duty, large-section gear shafts, gears, rear axle axles, shafts, eccentric shafts, connecting rods, and similar parts of steam turbines of large trucks. It can also be used instead of 40CrNiMo.
