S390 High Speed Steel Bar
S390 High-speed steel is produced by powder metallurgy methods. Segregation-free and homogeneous metal powders of the highest purity and adequate granulation are processed to homogeneous and segregation-free high-speed steels of virtually isotropic properties in a diffusion process taking place at high pressures and temperatures.
S390 super wear-resistant high-toughness powder high-speed steel is sintered using the world's most advanced third-generation powder metallurgy technology. Compared with the first and second generations, the powder particles are finer, more evenly distributed, and higher purity. Compared with other powdered high-speed steel (PM) of the same level, Bailu's powdered high-speed steel (PM) has better isotropy, higher toughness and better fatigue strength, thus ensuring the highest reliability.
High-speed steel produced by powder- metallurgy methods with good red hardness, compressive strength and wear resistance.
The PM technology imparts to the material also excellent toughness and machinability properties, e.g. highly satisfactory grindability.
