5CrNiMo Mould Steel Bar

5CrNiMo steel is a hot work die steel with good toughness, strength and high wear resistance. Use vacuum refining technology when melting to ensure the high purity of steel, and professional heat treatment is used to obtain the best pre-hardening effect and uniform hardness distribution of the steel. The mechanical properties of 5CrNiMo steel at room temperature to 500~600℃ are almost same. When heated to 500℃, the hardness of HB300 can still be maintained.

Because steel contains molybdenum, it is not sensitive to temper brittleness. After slowly cooling down from 600°C, the impact toughness is only slightly reduced. It is suitable for manufacturing large and medium-sized hammer forging dies and trimming dies with various complex shapes, large impact load, not too high working temperature, and side length >400mm. Executive standard: GB/T1299-2014 (Google Book English Version) .
