34CrMo1 Structural Steel Bar

 

34CrMo1 alloy steel due to increased molybdenum content, to adapt to the large forgings of the spindle, impeller and rotor needs. Has good process performance and high thermal performance, but hardenability is poor. 34CrMo1 alloy structural steel for the turbine shaft, rotor, engine rotor, ring forgings and so on.

 

Chemical Composition:

 

  • Silicon Si: ≤0.30
  • Manganese Mn: ≤0.70
  • Sulfur: ≤0.020
  • Phosphorus P: ≤0.020
  • Cr: 0.70 ~ 1.20
  • Nickel Ni: ≤0.30
  • Molybdenum Mo: 0.40 ~ 0.55

Heat treatment and microstructure specifications:

Heat treatment specifications: 850 ℃ oil quenching + 630 ℃ tempering.
