12CrMoV Pressure Vessel Steel Plate

 

12CrMov is pearlite heat-resistant steel, which has high structural stability and thermal strength when used for a long time at high temperature. It has low overheating sensitivity during heat treatment and has no tendency to temper brittleness; steel has high plasticity and machinability during cold deformation. Not bad; the weldability is average, but the wall thickness parts need to be preheated to 200~300℃, and stress relief treatment is required after welding. This kind of steel is usually used under high-temperature normalizing and high-temperature tempering, and the service temperature is -40~560℃.

 

12CrMoV steel is a heat-resistant steel with a mass fraction of 0.15%-0.3% vanadium added on the basis of Cr-Mo alloy. This steel has high thermal strength and its limit working temperature is 580℃, although its alloy composition Higher than 15CrMo steel, but lower content, weldability is similar to 15CrMo steel, overheating sensitivity during heat treatment, no tendency to temper brittleness: steel has high shape during cold deformation, good machinability, and general weldability. Usually used in high temperature normalizing and high temperature tempering conditions, the use temperature is -40 ~ 560 ℃. Mainly used in steam turbines for main steam pipes with steam parameters up to 540℃, turning guide vane rings, steam turbine diaphragms, diaphragm outer rings, and various superheated organs, ducts and corresponding forgings with tube wall temperatures ≧570℃

Currently, 12CrMoV steel is generally delivered in hot rolled delivery in China, and it can also be delivered in heat-treated (annealed, normalized or high-temperature tempered) state. At present, domestic users generally carry out the heat treatment process after processing.
