UNS N08367 Super Stainless Steel Bar
UNS N08367 alloy is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 6% molybdenum, and is associated with thermal stability and resistance to stress corrosion cracking by nitrogen and its high nickel content. UNS N08367 alloy is significantly higher than conventional austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 304 or 316L for strength and corrosion resistance in most environments.
Typical applications include welded tube heat exchangers for chemical treatment and marine applications and desalination systems, coal-fired power plants for flue gas desulfurization equipment, and reaction vessels for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
