9SMn28 Free-Cutting Steel Bar

9SMn28 free-cutting steel is S-P composite low-carbon free-cutting steel, which is the most phosphorus-containing in existing free-cutting steel, and its machinability is significantly improved compared with No. 15 steel. The mechanical properties of 9SMn28 steel have obvious anisotropy, and the longitudinal mechanical properties of cold drawn steel are close to that of cold drawn 15# steel

Application:

9SMn28 free-cutting steel often replaces the 15th steel to manufacture various parts with low mechanical properties, such as bolts, nuts, pins, shafts, pipe joints and spark plug jackets.
