Y35 Free Cutting Steel Bar
Y35 is free-cutting steel for manufacturing components requiring tensile strength, Y35 material properties similar to the Y30, higher mechanical properties of strength.
For the manufacture of high strength non-heat treatment standard parts or heat treatment parts, small parts can be quenched and tempered, the general use of cold-drawn state.
Chemical composition(%):
Carbon C: 0.32～0.40
Silicon Si: 0.15～0.35
Manganese Mn: 0.70～1.00
Sulfur S: 0.08～0.15
Phosphorus P: ≤0.06
Mechanical properties:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): (hot rolled) 510 to 655; (cold drawn) Thickness or diameter of steel 8 to 20 hours: 625 to 845;> 20 to 30 hours: 590 to 785;> 30 hours: 570 to 765
Elongation δ5 (%): (hot-rolled) ≥ 14; (cold-rolled) ≥ 6.0
Section shrinkage ψ (%): (hot-rolled) ≥ 22; (Cold pull) 176 ~ 229HB
Delivery status:
To hot-rolled or cold-drawn state delivery, delivery status should be specified in the contract.
