T8Mn Hardware Tool Steel Bar
T8Mn tool steel for the production of cutting tools, molds and measuring tools of carbon steel. Compared with the alloy tool steel, its good workability, low prices, the use of a wide range, so it is a large amount of tools used in the production. Such steel is generally delivered in an annealed condition and may also be delivered unannealed upon request by the purchaser. Annealed steel hardness, fracture structure, network carbide, pearlite, sample quenching hardness, depth of hardenability and depth of decarburization steel surface should be consistent with China's national standard GB1298 requirements. Performance and Uses Similar to T8 and T8A, hardenability is better and can be used to make tools with larger cross-sections.
● Delivery Status: The steel is delivered in an annealed condition. By mutual agreement, can also be delivered without annealing.

Carbon C: 0.80 ~ 0.90
Manganese Mn: 0.40 to 0.60
Phosphorus P: ≤0.035
Chromium Cr: Allow the residual content ≤ 0.25, ≤ 0.10 (manufacturing lead-hardened steel wire)
Nickel Ni: allow the residual content ≤ 0.20, ≤ 0.12 (manufacturing lead-hardened steel wire)
Copper Cu: Allow the residual content of ≤ 0.30, ≤ 0.20 (manufacturing lead-hardened steel wire)
Note: Allow the residual content of Cr + Ni + Cu ≤ 0.40 (manufacturing lead-hardened steel wire)
