42CrMnMoV Mould Steel Bar
42CrMnMo steel is pre-hardened plastic mould steel, with good machinability and wear resistance, processing deformation is small. Mold for making large molds for car bumpers and TV back covers.
42CrMnMoV is an improved steel grade of 5CrMnMo . It has high high temperature strength and toughness, high tempering stability, good hardenability and thermal fatigue characteristics. It can be manufactured by electroslag remelting process. It is usually used to manufacture hot forging molds.
