20CrNiMoV Structural Steel Bar

20CrNiMoV is a China GB Standard  structural steel. 20CrNiMoV steel has high hardenability, no temper brittleness, good weldability, low tendency to form cold cracks, good machinability and cold strain plasticity. Generally used in quenched and tempered or carburized quenched state. 20CrNiMoV steel is equivalent to American AISI 8620, SAE 8620. Hardenability is similar to 20CrNi steel. Although the Ni content in the steel is half that of 20CrNi steel, the addition of a small amount of Mo makes the upper part of the austenite isothermal transformation curve shift to the right; and the appropriate increase in Mn content results in the steel's hardenability and strength. It is also higher than 20CrNi steel. Commonly used in the manufacture of gears in the engines and transmission systems of small and medium-sized cars and tractors; it can also replace 12CrNi3 steel to manufacture carburized parts and cyanide parts that require high core performance, such as roller cone bits for petroleum drilling and metallurgical open-pit mines Claws and cones. Because 20CrNiMoV contains molybdenum, besides having good comprehensive performance, it can withstand a certain temperature. Used to manufacture geared whole-rotor internal combustion engine connecting rod and valve section forgings for steam turbines.
