16Mo3 High Strength Steel Plate
16Mo3 is equivalent to 12Cr1MoV steel in the Chinese standard and belongs to chromium-molybdenum vanadium steel and is mainly used for producing 12Cr1MoV/GB5310 steel pipes. Widely used, it is one of the most used materials in the high temperature range of 480°C~580°C. 12Cr1MoVG alloy pipe use temperature: It is mainly used for superheater pipes, header tanks and steam pipes of steel grades with pipe wall temperature ≤ 580°C high pressure boilers.
16Mo3 is EN10028 specified pressure vessel grade chrome molybdenum steel alloy for use in elevated working temperatures.
The material is used as a weldable steel in the fabrication of industrial boilers and steel pressurized vessels found in the oil, gas and chemical industry. Due to the materials chrome and molybdenum content, 16Mo3 has excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistant characteristics.
Grade 16Mo3 is available ex-stock from WixSteel Industrial and the material comes with test certification and stamping.
