3Cr2Mo Mould Steel Bar
3Cr2Mo steel is a general-purpose pre-hardened plastic mould steel, which can be machined after quenching and tempering. It has good machinability and mirror grinding and polishing performance. After machining and forming, the cavity deformation and size change are small. After heat treatment, the surface hardness and mold life can be improved. 3Cr2Mo steel is mainly used for the processing of high-end wear-resistant parts materials. 3Cr2Mo steel has good processing characteristics, such as easy cold deformation, welding, cutting and machining performance, such as high wear resistance and requirements and impact toughness, and use characteristics.
3Cr2Mo steel has good hardenability and certain toughness, and can be carburized. After carburizing and quenching, the surface hardness can reach 65HRC, and it has high thermal hardness and wear resistance. Because it has been pre-hardened in the delivery state, it can be directly processed into shape and then polished and assembled. The steel is polished after carburizing, nitriding, nitrocarburizing or ion nitriding, the surface roughness can be reduced to about 0.03μm, the surface brightness of the mold can be further improved, and the service life of the mold is greatly improved. For the die that is to be forged into a blank and then processed into a shape, the process route is: blanking blade for forging → spheroidizing annealing → planing or milling six sides → pre-hardening treatment (34~42HRC) → mechanical roughing → stress relief annealing → Mechanical finishing → polishing → assembly.
