DC11 Mould Steel Bar
DC11 steel is cold work die steel (air-cooled hardened steel). By adding molybdenum and vanadium elements, it has the advantages of long life, high wear resistance, high toughness, impact resistance, heat treatment not easy to deform, and fine structure. As a high-carbon, high-chromium alloy steel, DC11 steel has extremely high hardness and suitable bremsstrahlung, and has a temper hardening effect. It is a typical wind-hardened steel and the alloy tool steel with the best wear resistance.

Heat treatment:
- Annealing: Protect the state of heating to 830 ~ 880 ℃, slow cooling furnace.
- Quenching: 500 ℃, 800 ~ 850 ℃ two-stage preheating, and then heated to 1000 ~ 1050 ℃, heating time is 20-30min / mm, oil cooling or hot bath.
- Tempering: hardness requirements, should be low temperature tempering 150 ~ 200 ℃; require high toughness or heat treatment for electrical discharge processing, tempering 500 ~ 550 ℃.
