DIN 1.7720 Structural Steel Bar
DIN 1.7220 alloy steel has high endurance strength and creep strength at high temperature, good low-temperature impact toughness, good hardenability, no overheating tendency, small quenching deformation, good plasticity in cold edge shape, and medium workability. Poor weldability, preheating before welding, post-welding heat treatment and stress relief are generally used after quenching and tempering treatment, and it can also be used after high and medium frequency surface quenching or quenching and low and medium temperature tempering.
